Girard-Perregaux Back to Work ww.tc Collection for High-Flying Executives
Continuing our quest to combat 'back to work blues', we present two perfect companions from Girard-Perregaux, for high flying executives; the ww.tc-Financial and the ww.tc-Lady.  With previously unachieveable elegance, read the time in twenty-four time zones as well as the hours when the four stock markets - New York, London, Hong Kong and Tokyo - are open for business.

This original and ingenious marriage between technology and aesthetics depends on two mobile discs around the dial: a 24-hour ring is synchronised with the hour hand.  A second disc can be adjusted with the crown at 9 o'clock: it displays the names of the twenty-four cities and the periods when the four bourses are open for business.  When the red pointer on the hour ring is opposite one of these periods, that particular market is open.

In keeping with the brand's passion for detail, the ww.tc - Financial has been perfectly designed.  The hour ring features a day/night contrast, making it easier to read, and harmonises with the slver or anthracite dial.  The large gold case, 43mm in diameter, houses a Girard-Perregaux automatic mechanical movement.  This sophisticated mechanism can be admired through an antireflective sapphire crystal.  Two limited, individually-numbered series are planned for ardent steel-case enthusaists.

Before the ww.tc-Lady, the world's hours had never been expressed so seductively.  54 diamonds cover the bezel, whilst eight others emphasize the hours on the dial.  Their clarity enhances the colour chosen for the dial and the matching strap, which can be a choice of white, pink, blue, brown or black.

Confirming its avowed intention to develop women's watches that are both elegant and technical, Girard-Perregaux has provided this timekeeper with an automatic winding movent which, as well as the 'hours of the world' function, displays a power reserve indicator and a small seconds hand.  The movement can be admired through the transparent case back.

The timeless elegance of Girard-Perregaux's ww.tc line blends well with its resolutely modern functions.  Click here for the mens collection and here to see the specifications for the ww.tc-Lady.
