IWC Charity Auction of Pilots Watch

  For the tenth year in succession, from 12 to 19 December 2007, IWC is offering a sensational horological rarity for auction on the internet. The proceeds from the traditional internet auction will be donated to the «Ecole des Sables – Antoine de Saint Exupéry» school in the West African country of Mali.
  
  With the platinum version of the Pilot's Watch Automatic Edition Antoine de Saint Exupéry, Reference 3201, a truly sensational model is coming up for auction on this occasion – a mechanically accomplished, but also historically exciting collector's item. The watch is a tribute to the author Antoine de Saint Exupéry, and the fact that it is a platinum version makes it one of a kind.
  
  The reserve (starting) price is USD 30'000. Incremental bids of USD 100 and USD 400 are possible.
